It introduces Excretion, the E in the four elements (ADME) of pharmacokinetics.
Excretion primarily occurs through the kidneys, but also through the hepatobiliary system.
A tutorial to be posted soon will focus on renal clearance and explains why dosing must be adjusted for varying
renal filtration rates.
