E - Excretion

This lesson is the fifth and last in the Pharmacokinetics series. It introduces Excretion, the E in the four elements (ADME) of pharmacokinetics. Excretion primarily occurs through the kidneys, but also through the hepatobiliary system. A tutorial to be posted soon will focus on renal clearance and explains why dosing must be adjusted for varying renal filtration rates.

More videos & tutorials will be posted. We hope that you've enjoyed this introduction and overview of pharmacokinetics.
